Privacy notice

Last updated: 20 September 2026

This notice describes how Analytics Need at analyticsneed.com handles information. It covers website inquiries, website measurement, and purchases made through our linked Gumroad storefront. Contact us through our contact page with privacy questions.

When you contact us

Our contact form asks for your name, email address, subject, and message. The submitted information is emailed to the site administrator so we can review and respond to your inquiry. Your email address is used as the reply address. Please avoid including passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information in your message.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically enroll you in marketing emails. Correspondence may remain in the receiving mailbox and related service records. Our form does not ask you to upload files.

Blog comments and profile images

Where comments are open, we collect the comment and the name and email you provide, together with IP address and browser information used for comment administration and spam checks. Approved comments and the displayed name can be public; your email is not displayed as part of the comment. If you choose the comment form’s remember-details option, cookies can save your details for a later visit.

Profile images use Gravatar. A hash derived from your email address may be sent to Gravatar to find an associated image, which can appear with an approved comment. Gravatar is covered by Automattic’s privacy policy.

Website operation and hosting

Our website uses WordPress and hosting services. Hosting, email, security, and backup services may process technical information and site records to deliver pages, handle messages, troubleshoot problems, and maintain the site. Technical records can include IP addresses, request times, requested pages, and browser or device information. Service providers have their own information-handling practices; see Hostinger’s privacy policy.

Google measurement and cookies

Google measurement code is installed through Site Kit. Google measurement services can process information about page visits, interactions, and browser or device characteristics. Cookies or similar identifiers may be used depending on the service configuration and consent settings.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. It does not stop all website data collection or other measurement tools. Read Google’s data safeguards for more information.

Gumroad purchases

Our purchase links take you to Gumroad, which operates its checkout and digital delivery services separately from this website. Gumroad processes purchase, contact, payment, and technical information under its privacy policy. Purchase information is made available to sellers for order administration and support. The toolkit’s earlier PDF has buyer-information stamping enabled, so your downloaded copy may contain purchase-related identifying information. Do not send us full card details through the contact form. For an order question, include only the information needed to locate your purchase.

Retention and your requests

Retention depends on the record, service, and operational or applicable legal requirements. Copies of some records may remain in mailboxes, service logs, or backups. Removal from active records may not immediately remove copies retained in backups or by service providers.

Use our contact page to request information, correction, or deletion of records we hold about you. We may need to verify the request and will evaluate it under applicable law and the records we control. Requests concerning Gumroad or Google’s own processing may also need to be directed to those providers.

We will update this notice when our services or information practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
